Call us free on 0800 634 0294 THE HOTEL The Garth is a small, privately owned hotel, in the centre of London (Bloomsbury) The building is grade II listed,18th century, Georgian town house of historical interest. It was the birthplace in 1839 of William De Morgan the famous potter and novelist. We pride ourselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere at the Garth, and have established a reputation for our hospitality, which has brought back the same guests year after year. We will do our best to make sure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The hotel is owned by Simon Hoare and run by Joey Cruz, the manager, who has been at the Garth for over 13 years. The owner was previously in the Antique business in London and has decorated the rooms and public areas with numerous paintings, photographs and prints to create an art gallery effect. We are at present creating a Mediterranean garden (containing many unusual semi-tropical plants and palms) for the use of the hotel guests. |
